Unique Pizza and Subs Announces Second California Location to Open in Baldwin Park
PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Unique Pizza and Subs Corporation (OTC:UPZS - News), announces a soft opening for current shareholders and their guests in Baldwin Park, CA on 8/03/2008. UFO, Inc. a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Dream Factory, Inc. (DRMF) is the franchisee, with Mr. Mark Ellison and Safia Ellison operating. See Pictures
Mark said, "After my extensive training at the stores in Pennsylvania as well as the experience gained from our utilization of the temporary rental kitchen in Austin, Texas, I am excited to move into the fast paced Southern California area. The Baldwin Park area is ripe with possibilities and already full of Unique Pizza and Subs shareholders, this location will be a tremendous stepping stone for our growth."
Safia commented, I am absolutely thrilled that my husband’s dreams are coming true and that we are finally getting into our first permanent location, I am so blessed and thankful to God at what this opportunity is going to do for our family in the coming years!

The first store in a new area can take longer and typically has more challenges because of all the vendors like PepsiCo Inc. (NYSE:PEP), Unifirst CP (NYSE:UNF), Concord Foods-Member of the Bellissimo Group, that have to be set up before the operation can begin. After this has been completed and the first UPZS location is opened we are then able to initiate rapid growth within that region through new stores, conversions, acquisitions and mobile kitchens.”
